Presentation

Diktat is jubilatory discord – a solo with Lauren, Ernestine, Fred, Dieue and many others. I am Lara. I am Gena or Nina. Sandrine? It doesn't matter what my name is. What do you mean already? Oh yes!... but no. I forgot, or I'm lying, I don't remember. Let's take a break. I'm going to start over. No! We will continue! Close your eyes. Look, look at me! Do I not exist!? I play heads or tails. I am multifaceted. I summon the public. I transform a pole into Sisyphus's mountain, a dance pole or an execution stake. I need you enormously. I…me, me always me, but we're still going to have fun.

Biography

Sandrine Juglair is not a company. She is an artist who at one point needed and, especially, desired to create her own show. This show is a solo and it is called Diktat. And in order to achieve the task, she surrounded herself with a fantastic team: Claire Dosso, Jean-Charles Gaume, and Jean-Benoît Mollet who offered artistic support and oversight. Étienne Charles, who designed the lighting, and Lucas Barbier, who designed the sound space. Marie Grosdidier, who reinvented and built the accessories. And the Ay-Roop association, who produced and distributed the project.
