Presentation of the book Écrire le cirque. L’aventure Archaos et la méthode ANCAR [Écrire le cirque. The Archaos adventure and the ANCAR method] co-authored by Raquel Rache de Andrade and Guy Carrara.

This book, structured as a personal narrative interspersed with insights, tells the story of Raquel’s career as a performer in all of Archaos’ creations from 1988 to 2008 (and as a director and/or author from 2001 to 2021), and the evolution of the creative process within the Archaos company. Through this main “character”, an artistic journey and creative revelation are unveiled.   It is a look behind the scenes of one of the most innovative circus companies of the past 30 years. With an original style that mixes a personal account of an artist’s experiences and theoretical reflections on the act of writing, this work offers concrete guidelines for leading a circus writing workshop.
