Presentation

This performance by five dancer-acrobats is an exploration of our resistance. On a rotating floor that forms a type of vortex that issues an injunction against movement, a small community of people makes their opposition known by asserting their physical identities. By holding on to a precise point, by remaining vertical, by refusing to succumb to adversity, to wear and tear, to the deformation of time and objects. By holding on so that nothing falls, all while embracing a collaborative, urgent, and primary determination. Despite everything, they try to form a common entity.

Biography

Naïf Production creates live shows and collective adventures that are imagined by Sylvain Bouillet, Mathieu Desseigne-Ravel, and Lucien Reynès. These three acrobats use the singular relationship of intimacy their bodies maintain with gravity as a language to develop fictional narratives of images and movements where the physical commitment is paramount.
