Presentation

A young woman gradually moves away from the world of reality and enters a forest of mysteries and dreams. Her vine-like body approaches, insinuates itself, and creeps forward until it melts into the woods. In this moment of solitude, she does not enclose herself. She takes a step back, a step up too. She gathers her strength and opens the windows wide, those that open onto the elsewhere and onto the intimate. A blend of dance and circus, this show owes its strength to its simplicity and the authenticity of the movements. It is a harmonious and hypnotic body-to-body performance between an extraordinary apparatus and a young woman in full metamorphosis.

Biography

The Comagnie Libertivore was founded in 2005 by Fanny Soriano and Jules Beckman. Together, they created the show Libertivore. After, Fanny Soriano took the company's reins alone and developed shows that mixed circus and dance and were enriched with research into organic matter and the material, malleable, and metamorphic character of the body. She created Ether in 2012 and then a triptych dedicated to nature composed of Hêtre (2015), Phasmes (2017), and Fractales (2019).
