Presentation

As a naïve explorer of a world with strange rules, Marc Oosterhoff seeks a balance between submitting to fate and writing his own prophecy. Are these innocent games or a trial by fire? Who knows what the threads of his destiny have woven for him? In a monochrome universe accompanied by the cosmic sounds of Raphael Raccuia performed live, Marc Oosterhoff offers a high-voltage performance. With a sense of burlesque reminiscent of Buster Keaton, he desperately fights against boredom. This show is a cross between dance, theater, and circus and embraces the promise of an uncertainty that has become far too precious to be left to chance...

Biography

Founded in 2017 by Marc Oosterhoff, MOOST is a company that mixes dance and circus while seeking an artistic language for performing that is both singular and non-elitist. He has choreographed and directed the following projects: Take Care Of Yourself (2016), Les Promesses de l'incertitude (2019), Palette(s) (2017), Lab Rats (2021), and Natures Mortes (2022).
