Presentation

During the course of a journey, strangers meet in a train car. Inspired by the movement and transitions of the trip, they uses this temporal window to tell their stories of escapes and encounters. As the tempo of the journey infuses the soundscape with its own rhythm, they reveal themselves to the audience. Witnesses to the world that is unfolding before their eyes and that is changing them without their knowledge, they transform their compartment into a playground conducive to sharing secrets. Expanding the boundaries of stage performance by combining dance, physical expression, acrobatics, and projection, Les 7 Doigts [The 7 Fingers] invites the audience to discover characters who resemble themselves.

This show is dedicated to the memory of Raphael Cruz

"Sadness, tears, laughter, melancholy, amazement... In a mad poetry that is sublimated by the talent of circus artists who continuously flirt with dance, this company from Quebec takes the audience on a journey through their own emotions."

Le Progrès

Les 7 Doigts de la Main is a creative collective like no other. Twenty years ago, its seven founders set out to redefine the contemporary circus starting from its very essence and to explore the infinite possibilities offered by the blending of artistic disciplines. Fascinated by the human condition, collective uses its creations to celebrate our world, our time, and our humanity.
