The latest creation of the great Nikolaus is just as crazy as his previous ones. On stage, four artists tell a story of the world, a story of three thousand years that conjures up Adam and Eve and the music of Frédéric Chopin before arriving at the ecological catastrophe that threatens our future. Using acrobatic lifts, balancing acts (not really), a flying rope, a piano, and tires, the circus artists translate the chaos of the world. But, curiously, with Nikolaus, chaos can end in joy!

“A master of imbalance and falling objects, the clown-juggler Nikolaus pays glorious tribute to the perserverance of fragile human will in the face of chaos."
– Movement
A clown, juggler, and acrobat, Nikolaus began his career with the Archaos circus and then the Baroque circus before founding his own company, Pré-O-Coupé, in 1998 and launching his own shows and productions. A cross between humor and burlesque, theater and juggling, his plays emphasize humor as a way to defuse despair and infuse vitality.
