TRAIT(s) is an experiment in written, graphic circus and the final part of a triptych created for young audiences. It offers a contemporary revisiting of three circus fundamentals: the body, the family, and the circle. Inspired by the artwork of Miro and Kandinsky, TRAIT(s) presents a circus performer on the Cyr wheel to create a pictorial work of art using the apparatus. Accompanied by an eruption of forms and colors, the circus is written and drawn through the movements of the apparatus.

“A performance as gentle as it is acrobatic. A combination of arts that forms a beautiful and poetic circus journey that provides a gentle awakening to the contemporary circus for the youngest audiences.”
