A stupendous early career at the Olympia in Paris, opportune encounters, and great talent sent Les Nouveaux Nez skyrocketing into the heights of the new circus. Clowns by profession, trained at the CNAC, they offer a new approach to the discipline. Dusting off the traditional art form, Les Nouveaux Nez create poetic and offbeat worlds. Their notion of a clown is multifaceted, a character in perpetual evolution, between humor and reflection, strength and fragility, dream and virtuosity. The "Nouveaux Nez" clown makes us laugh, challenges us, and touches us with his humanity. 

All the while preserving their traveling cases, the troupe never ceases to explore their versatile humor and their singular approach to clowning. They combine the arts of clowning and the circus with those of puppetry, theater, music, and dance, all the while working with different collaborators, directors, and artists... Their trademark is a diversity and richness of expression. Each artist is involved in one or more artistic projects. Founders of La Cascade, the Pôle Auvergne Rhône-Alpes in Bourg Saint Andéol in the Ardèche, they have made it both their home base and a space for creation and artistic encounters.
