Located in the building of the Montperrin psychiatric hospital in Aix-en-Provence, 3 bis f has been a center for contemporary creation in the form of live shows and the visual arts since 1983. Every year, artists and companies are invited to the center for periods varying from a few weeks to several months to develop projects as part of a research and/or creation residency program that revolves around the site. The center opens its door to the public to offer encounters with the artists in the form of exhibitions, performances, and group projects, all of which creates a space of diversity and exchange focusing on questions of art, psychiatry, and what it means to be a member of a community.
