ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) is definitely in the iconoclastic spirit of the Cirk La Putyka! The show features the same flow of energy, the same abundance of creativity, the same sense of extravagance, and the same inventive stage as the company's previous performances, while also raising a single question: what does a person suffering from ADHD look like?… On stage, the artists flirt with the impossible (balance, speed), they dance with the voice and shuffle and recreate true stories of ADHD inspired by Torey Hayden, Emil Zátopek, Jean-Michel Basquiat, and all those who live with the condition in the here and now.

Rostislav Novák Jr. about the project:

"I was diagnosed with ADHD as a kid and now one of my kids, my son, is ADHD as well. When I see him coming of age, how he struggles with himself, with his vicinity, how he seeks his dreams. How his body and his mind react by themselves and he can’t influence it nor understand it. I decided to make a project for him. I want him to understand that ADHD is not a disease as many people claim, it is an advantage. It is new quality of life."

Rostislav Novák Jr. and Vít Novákare are at the head of a "brigade" of 50 artists who share utopias, dreams, and work efforts. Since 2009, every project has been the occasion to enlarge their network of professionals with the common goal of transcending the frontiers between acrobatics, theatre, contemporary dance, puppetry, music, and sport.

"We are trying to transcend the lines between acrobatics, theatre, contemporary dance, puppetry, concert and sport. We are striving to create our own specific theatre poetics and find a perspective on the genre as a whole. The theme, the story and the message for us are as important as the professional approach to both individual theatre genres and circus disciplines."
