Bruit de Couloir
With an intertwining of juggling- and hip-hop-infused contemporary dance, the performance evokes fragments of emotions and life through body movements, balls, and juggling. Enveloped in a bath of sculpted light, they become a single entity. The creation is entrancing and tender, aerial and profound, the white balls develop a form of autonomy and create their own relationships that are entirely separate from Clément Dazin. His hands dance with agility, his back with power, linked by movements of near-perfect precision and a rhythm that is at times resonant and bold, at other times fluid and light. His solo is utterly mesmerizing.

Dance slowly connects to juggling in a slow ascension and a true harmony. The balls become transactional objects. Organic gestures entwine in a mirror exchange while, little by little, rhythmic ruptures arise. Silence begins to talk...
