Tent Village - J4 Esplanade
Três weaves together three distant worlds where three beings wander while navigating and crossing different places along the way. Their relationships lead them into states that evolve until a composite, interwoven universe emerges. The Chinese pole, like a fourth character, pushes them to converge toward each other; it is the guide in a story that has neither beginning nor ending, neither top nor bottom, and yet everything ends up connecting. The characters understand each other or argue in this bodily language they build not out of their convergence but out of the differences that connect them. With the pole, the floor, and a minimalist stage design, Três leads the bodies into conversation.

The Groupe Zède is made up of the Toulousian artist Antonin Bailles (dance, theater and Chinese pole), the Portuguese artist Leonardo Duarte Ferreira (dance, acrobatics, Chinese pole), and the Brazilian artist Joana Nicioli (music, dance, and Chinese pole), who all graduated from the Centre National des Arts du Cirque de Châlons-en-Champagne. After having worked together for three years, the group wished to deepen their research around the body and the pole; thus was born Três, a production that weaves together three universes and their will to become one body.
