Presentation

A show in the form of a mechanical-acrobatic revenge! After the setbacks of his previous opus Extrémités, in which he lost his wheelchair, Rémi is counting on gaining the upper hand over his two buddies with the help of his construction machine. His mini mechanical digger, a veritable exoskeleton, will give him strength and superhuman precision. Used as a circus apparatus, this tetraplegic body extension will open Rémi up to incredible possibilities: carrying balancing acrobats or throwing them in the air as effectively as a trampoline.

Collective Collboration By and With: Yann Ecauvre, Rémi Lecocq and Rémi Bezacier
Based on an Idea by Yann Ecauvre
Management: Sébastien Hérouart
Sound Technician: Frédéric Guillaume

Production and Distribution: Jérôme Souchet
Communication: Lætitia Gabillard

“Not only do they really blow us away, but they make us laugh and touch our hearts on a stage that is as good as a construction site [...] It is with immense talent and downright modesty that these three accomplices are able to so effortlessly tame the dangers, but they also know how to set the room ablaze with the mere swing of a tennis racket (no joke)."  – Le Monde

The company was created in 1998 under the name As Pa de Maïoun. It soon acquired a big top tent and, in the course of many meetings, progressively mixed in street arts and music. In 2007, the show Inextremiste was created around a trampoline and gas canisters, carried by the self-taught circus artist Yann Ecauvre. Holder of a Vocational Training Certificate in Automobile Mechanics, he dedicated himself to music and circus through an autodidactic aerial acrobatics and trampoline practice. Having worked with Komplex Kapharnaüm, Jérôme Savary and the Natya company, a member of Cheptel Aleikoum, it is his encounter with the tetraplegic artist Rémi Lecocq that proved to be key: it brought about, in 2010, the Cirque Inextremiste. The show Extrémités was created in 2012, with boards and gas canisters as apparatuses. In keeping with the same wacky energy, the second segment Extension saw the light of day in 2014, with the mini-digger as extension of Rémi Lecocq. Since 2015, there has been the creation of two new shows (for Summer 2017). Based in the Indre department of France, the company has always defended the humanist value of interdependence between individuals and had a taste for risk, black humor, and a very particular idea of the circus.
