Cofounded by Michèle D’Angelo and Laurent Barboux, L’Envolée Cirque has been upholding the traditional arts of the tent circus, the ring, and the traveling show since 1997.They co-wrote the show Et Moi, which toured from 2002 to 2006. Aerial dancers Pauline Barboux and Jeanne Ragu, who perform aerial dance on their own creation, the quadrisse, joined them in 2013. L’Envolée Cirque then got back on the road with two new humorous all-ages shows, Tanda and Le Voyage de Michû et Mr Lô.

In 2016, they created a new show together: Traits d'Union. Today two generations of circus performers have taken up the challenge of exchange, sharing, and transmission.
