Tent Village - Plages du Prado
Marseille,
In a ring with a diameter of just 1.50 m, Griotte the dog, Irène the hen, Krakoss the cunning rat, Carlotta knockout lady, and Gaston and the rest of his accomplices on the high-wire enchant this tiny tinkered tent. And then there's the hopeful clown who can only sigh within this universe that is so fragile and poetic, so tender and joyful.

"Whether they are big or small, everyone will fall for this lovely show that is touching and poetic, tender and clumsy and that awakens unexpected emotions. To be seen without delay!" – Télérama
Michel, Annie, Boris, and Suzy Gibé created the École de Cirque d'Oletta along with circus arts discovery workshop in Furiani, Corsica in 1994. 80 children took regular classes there. Over the summer, the family worked with the Néné Circus, which followed the tradition of small traveling circuses. Starting January 2003, the circus family adopted the name "The Zampanos". They set their suitcases down in Vaour in the Tarn, planted their tent in the heart of this village of about 250 souls, and begin to share their daily lives and artistic research with the locals. They adapted Fellini's La Strada using 13 actors in the ring along with about 30 farm animals. In 2007, the Zampanos decided to return to a lighter form of performance and created a street show entitled Psychose that, alas, never saw the light of day. The company, weakened by the loss of its sponsors, struggled to find the strength to continue and eventually was sunk. Thus followed the sale of the big top, the trucks, the show equipment...
In the spring of 2009, the Zampanos, now flat broke, used a shoestring budget to convert one of the small garages that sat across from the La Strada big top. In these 16m2, they welcomed around 40 people for the show Mundus Est Circus. In October 2009, under a small tent, the Zampanos created a poetic show called Le Petit Cercle Boiteux De Mon Imaginaire. Since August 2009, over 600 performances of this show have been held under the tiniest big top in the world and it has travelled to about 100 different locations.
