BP Zoom is like a melody that we don't know the name of but that we constantly catch ourselves humming. Two characters from everyday life who bring about laughter and poetry with a mere gesture or an insignificant situation. Since 1992, this burlesque duo, made up of Philippe Martz and Bernie Collins, has not stopped molding these characters and experiencing them in all forms of live performance: theater, music hall, and cabaret. They have put on performances in France and abroad, always seeking to bring the clown exactly where he is least expected. 

Inspired by Buster Keaton, Jacques Tati, and even Monthy Python, the duo enjoys the presence of travel companions such as Abel & Gordon and Bolek Polivka and has developed its key ideas through its creations. The pair reduces language and props to their most simple expression and reveals the humor and incongruity of the human condition through the rhythm of bodies and the complicity of gesture, always relying as much on their penchant for dreaming as on their skill for poetry. BP Zoom celebrates its 20-year anniversary with these two characters in Mélange 2 Temps.
