The Cirque Électrique is an identity – a way of life – a home – a mobile and traveling cultural spot. It establishes itself in urban areas with its tents and its red and silver caravans in order to evoke moments of experimentation, sharing, and connection. Since 1995, the Cirque Électrique has succeeded in creating a veritable counter-culture. Each new placement is an opportunity to renew and multiply its creative activity, its audiences, and its sense of exploration.

With many creations under its belt, including I Am Man, Aba Daba, Steam, and Les Cabarets Électriques, and the renowned Cirques Laboratoires, the Cirque Électrique has been based in Porte des Lilas since 2011 where it has built a heterotopia right above the beltway. Supported by the mayor of Paris and the city hall of the 20th arrondissement, the project has developed into an abundant operation with a heterogeneous and multi-genre program, a circus school, and a convivial space complete with a bar and a restaurant. A can't miss address in the Ile-de-France, the Cirque Électrique attracts spectators from across France and is forging a reputation beyond its borders as it tours throughout Europe and the world.
