A circus artist and two visual artists are united around paper. A material with millennia-old origins, it has multiple identities. From the blank page to the crumpled draft to the printed pamphlet for this very show, paper embodies the intimate and the universal while serving as a witness to the ordinary, to our dreams, to our collaborations, to our personalities, to our culture, and to our history. What else can it tell us? Through the prism of the circus, paper opens up a fascinating playground that is full of surprises, challenges, and moments of listening. A new dialogue is woven between the body in suspension and the paper that has become its support.

Biography

Born in 1990 in Jerusalem (Israel), Inbal Ben Haim has developed a diverse career that embraces visual arts, sports, and the art of movement. She weaves a unique relationship between body and materials as she searches for a visual poetry. Her artistic language is situated at the crossroads of circus and visual arts, between the intimate and the spectacular, the here and the elsewhere.
